Rai-Elle is a gifted teenage R&B / soul singer from South London, she has an incredible voice and writes infectiously playful music. Rai-Elle grew up on a diet of timeless R&B, she takes her lead from Lauryn Hill, Total and SWV, and she mixes this nostalgic palate with modern-day influences such as H.E.R., Teyana Taylor and Queen Naija. Unsurprisingly, having been surrounded with music from such strong female role models, Rai-Elle is passionate about female empowerment and injects this into her impressively refined song craft.
'KSB (Always On My Mind)' is Rai-Elle’s debut single, it was produced by Courage (the beatsmith behind RAY BLK’s ‘My Hood’) and written by Rai-Elle herself. The chilled summer jam provides more than a hint as to Rai-Elle’s intent as an artist, it marks the arrival of a new star. With more to follow, 'KSB (Always On My Mind)’ is the first taste of music from Rai-Elle since she reached the X Factor finals last year with the help of her longtime supporter Stormzy. Rai-Elle subsequently signed a management deal with Finesse Foreva (the team behind the assurgent UK drill duo Skengdo x AM) and a record deal with MOVES (home to a host of UK afrobeat and rap luminaries such as Belly Squad, Afro B and Naira Marley).
